Week 4 of my Victor Harbour Half Marathon training done! Missed a couple of runs this week but that’s how training goes sometimes. Adjusting the plan for next week to make sure I still hit my 18km long run, while keeping recovery in check and avoiding overtraining. #running #runner #run #halfmarathontraining #lovethejourney #
Lunch run in the sunshine 🌞 Remembered to slip, slop, slap (kind of)… these white arms needed a little vitamin D #workingonmytan #runner #run #slipslopslap #running #training

City to Bay 2025… not my quickest race. No PB, not the speed I hoped for over 12km, but still such an important part of my running journey. Since the Gold Coast Marathon in July, running has taken a back seat, work, sickness, and just struggling to get back into rhythm. Honestly, I was more nervous for this than my marathon because I knew the training wasn’t there. But instead of pulling out, I showed up with the mindset of giving my best, whatever that looked like. I finished in 56:16, a time I’d smash months ago at my fittest, but one I’m still proud of today. Running isn’t always linear. There are ups and downs, life gets in the way, but sometimes it’s about showing up, giving what you’ve got, and being proud of that. #Running #runningjourney #runner #citytobay #run #lovethejourney

Every medal is more than just a piece of metal, it’s a memory, it’s a story, and a reminder of your journey! It represents the early mornings, the sore days, the wins, the setbacks, and the strength you found along the way to keep pushing towards your goals! #running #runningrace #runner #medal #runningjourney #findjoy #trainsmart #lovethejourney

Gold Coast Marathon 2025! Running a marathon is more than a physical test, it’s a mental battle. When you want to give up, you remind yourself why you started. You think about every early morning, every session in the heat or rain, every interval session, every easy run and every long run. All those hours of training led to this moment. Crossing that finish line is like no other feeling. It’s the reward for all the ups and downs, the proof of what consistency and grit can achieve. Here’s to chasing goals, embracing the journey, and finding joy in the challenge! #marathon #goldcoastmarathon #running #runninggoals #findjoy #trainsmart #lovethejourney #TJFitness
